Singapore vs Malaysia

i must say that watching a live soccer match at the stadium itself is a KAZIBUMILLION times more exhilarating than watching from a tv.

and you canNOT believe how packed the stadium was.

this was to my right...

... and to my left.

and there were more waiting outside in the cold and heavy fickle-drizzle. simply because they couldn't get tickets, but are soccer-mad. hurhur.

here's a rather weak shot of our entire lot, minus The Drummer behind the camera.

and here we are.

but THIS shot has to be the highlight of the match.

after a frustrating 0-0 in the first half of the match, these guys decided to set the score straight, no pun intended, for Singapore. from the looks on their faces, it must surely have been one helluva job, no pun intended again. HAHAHA!

Eric Clapton, Live in Singapore

finally, after 17 years since the last one here.

my only gripe is that we're the opening gig - warm up for the tour, so one encore song only. and i paid two arms and legs for it!

a New Year's Day rainbow

what other brilliant ending could there possibly be, to the first day of the new year than a beautiful rainbow?

and if you look closer, there is a faint double rainbow above the distinct one. with colours in the opposite order!

appearing from one end...

... disappearing into the other.

another favourite oldie

sounds uncannily similar to What A Fool Believes (25th Aug '06) by the Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald.
